“The Trustees need more information…..”
A free Sage 50* Accounts workshop for charities and voluntary organisations
We are pleased to announce a third workshop on 10 June 2009. The last two Sage software workshops proved extremely popular in the charity and not for profit community.
Which of these ring bells? A selection from our top 10 requests from voluntary organisations::
- Nominal account codes need sorting
- “I need to export to Excel”
- Preparing year-end
- Funders, trustees, managers need more information
- Departmental budgets
- Chart of accounts needs setting up
- “I need to get information out of Sage”
- Report writing/modifying
Sage, who produce the UK’s most popular accounts software, and Entec Novare, the IT supplier dedicated to charities, are running a free half-day workshop from 9.15 to 12.30 at the NCVO HQ in London** on the 10 June. Energy-giving refreshments will be provided so as to pack as much in as possible! The aim of the morning is to help you with hints, tips and solving problems.
If you don’t use Sage and think Sage 50 might help your organisation please come along or call Entec to find out more. Please send this page or link to a colleague if it may be of interest to them. Also included will be a short session on how Sage’s ACT! database can help (as it has at Liberty, Adoption UK and other charities)
Booking your place is easy: email sage@entec.co.uk with your name (and those of any colleagues) and organisation, or phone 01462 499599.
We look forward to meeting you and your colleagues.
Ian J Brown
PS This is a no-cost workshop just for charities and not for profit organisations so best to reserve your place early.
* Sage50 – the current name – better known, for many years, as Line 50.
